THE TENEMENTS
Housing in District Nine is compact and out of the way. Most families live in small tenements alongside the factory or grain storage buildings. A few of the better-off families can afford separate houses for themselves, but the living space is about the same.

MAIN STREET
With the much more "city"-oriented layout of District Nine, all of the trading and merchant businesses are spread along one specific street. This is one of the few areas of the District free of the looming factories.

THE FACTORIES
The living areas of District Nine are surrounded by large factories built to process and prepare the grain the citizens harvest. As the Tessera come from this process and are shipped out across Panem, many of the factories have at least one Peacekeeper overseeing everything.

THE GRAIN FIELDS
As the provider of most of Panem's grain, much of District Nine is set aside for long, sweeping "fields of amber grain." There are long criss-crossed roads out among the fields to make for easy access out to them from the urban centers of the District.

VICTORS' VILLAGE
Recently built by order of the Capitol, Victors' Village stands in stark contrast to the rest of the District with its large and luxurious - and empty - homes. Peacekeepers guard the premises for now to run off squatters. Perhaps the first victor of the Games will soon own one of these homes.
